What counts as a roofing emergency?
Water coming into your house right now. That is the short answer. A limb through the roof counts. So do shingles torn off with more rain on the way, or a ceiling that sags with water.
If any of those is happening, call 501-359-5550 now. We answer 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If the roof can wait a week, it is a normal roof repair. We will tell you which one you have.
What should I do right now?
Get everyone safe first. Then call us. Do not climb on a wet or damaged roof. That is how people get hurt.
Here is what helps while you wait.
- Put a bucket under the drip.
- Move furniture, rugs, and electronics out of the way.
- Stay out from under a ceiling that sags or bulges.
- Take photos from the ground if it is safe.
Those photos help later if you file a claim.
How fast can you get here?
Often the same day or the next. Most Hot Springs homes are a short drive from our shop at 207 Albert Pike Rd. Tell us water is coming in when you call. Active leaks go to the front of the list.
No one should be on a roof in lightning or high wind. In a live storm, we come as soon as it is safe.
Here is how we sort the calls.
| What happened | How urgent | What we do first |
|---|---|---|
| Water is coming in now | Call now | Tarp the roof |
| A limb went through the roof | Call now | Cover the hole |
| Shingles blew off, rain is coming | Same day | Cover the bare spot |
| A new stain, no drip yet | This week | Free inspection |
What does a tarp do?
A tarp stops the water. It does not fix the roof. We can often tarp your roof the same day, and that keeps your ceilings, walls, and floors from getting worse.
A tarp buys you time. It gives us a dry roof to inspect and gives your adjuster time to come out.
Then we come back and do the real work.
What happens after the water is stopped?
We inspect the whole roof, not just the hole. We photograph what we find and walk you through it. Then we hand you a written price.
Some roofs need a small fix. That is a roof leak repair. Some took a real hit and need storm damage repair. A few need a full roof replacement.
You decide what happens next. There is no pressure from us.
Will insurance cover an emergency repair?
It may, if a storm caused it. Most Arkansas policies cover sudden damage from wind, hail, and fallen limbs. They usually do not cover a roof that wore out. Your adjuster makes the final call.
We photograph the damage and write it up. We can meet your adjuster on the roof, too. See how roof insurance claims work.

Can you tarp my roof tonight?
Often yes. A tarp is not a repair, but it keeps water out of your house until we can do the real work. Call 501-359-5550 and tell us water is coming in.
What should I do while I wait for you?
Stay off the roof. Put a bucket under the drip and move what you can out of the way. Stay out from under a ceiling that sags or bulges. Take photos from the ground if it is safe.
Will my insurance pay for an emergency roof repair?
It may, if a storm, hail, or a fallen limb caused the damage. It usually will not pay for a roof that wore out. Your adjuster makes the call. We photograph the damage and write it up, so you have proof to hand them.
How much does an emergency roof repair cost?
It depends on what broke and how much of the roof it takes to fix. The inspection is free. We give you a written price before we start the repair, so you know the number first.
